We're just waiting for spring
In the meantime we started adding goodies to our pit shop, 5 items at a time, check back now and again for some crazy deals. Example: need a precision turbo, then you should hit us up because we'll match or beat anyone's price. Not to mention we have some track tested goods to offer. Like our 3lbs front control arms. Making the stocks look like paperweights. Check back soon we're still at it.
In the offseason the plans are to build our gsr transmission to try and compete in 2015. So far we've begun ordering parts for trans internals. as rolando always says to fix a problem, just throw money at it.
We got our feet wet at Nyce1s.com Rachet Fridays at Englishtown Old Township. Well not what we hoped for since we showed up to the track with 20mm Spacers and our slicks require a 25mm spacer to clear our kstuned brakes. So we just said lets run it on street tires... BIG time mistake, we could not get traction in any gear. We tried launching at low rpm and going into second right away, hell we even avoided the burnout box and had 15psi in the street tires. Best trap was 14.9@84MPH. we'll be back at it again but next time with plenty of room to clear our brakes and try and get our first 10 second pass in.
So our integra is finally tuned. We are almost ready to finally debut at an event. we are shooting for honda day at e-town on august 10th/11th.
We were at Yosolo motorsports this passed tuesday, we spent about 2 hours diagnosing misfiring issue which we kept on having under load.
felix brought us 4 brand new bosch ev14 1000cc injectors which solved our issues instantly. we initially made 500hp, then we almost hit 626whp on the second pull... felix got the car dialed in and we are locked and loaded for the strip.
We're meeting up with Felix El Gato Medina this weekend to try and get her dialed in finally. The issues on the dyno from previous were due to a pinched vtec solenoid gasket which has since been resolved. She's running great now and we're headed to the dyno to get her dialed in full boost q16 tune coming.
We weren't able to get our car tuned in time for honda day this passed weekend. The car made a hair over 400hp but we weren't able to get it to rev passed 7k rpms, theory: bad head gasket. Next goal is just to get her dialed in for some passes at englishtown... we'll post up a vid on the runs.
as We finish getting things ready for Honda Day, All our safety gear, Axles, Drag Brake kit and New AEM EMS Series 2 have arrived... We are almost on our way. Tuning early next week. video of our tune session will be up as soon as she's on the rollers... funds are getting low and time is running out, we are just over 7 days out of qualifying.
as mentioned before we're working with the aem ems. to save a couple hundred bucks we purchased a preowned ems series 1, unforutanately it has bit us in the ass. we've abandoned the series 1 and got rolando from dynamic performance tp order us a series 2 and it should be coming in shortly. once the ems series 2 arrives at dp we'll be getting the car tuned and hopefully can make a couple passes before honda day at atco.
the good thing about our struggles is that our tow vehicle, our 07 honda pilot, which was purchased this passed october, has come in very handy. we've been able to transport the car back and forth trouble free as we work to get it dialed in... Stay tuned.
we've had some issues getting our ride tuned for the 2013 season. Since we are rookies it is expected. we purchased an aem v1 to save some cash. having some issues tuning the v1 with the epm. mainly 2 cylinders work. felixtuned has our ecu and he is working on getting our issues solved.
